Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has earned $1bn (£640) in its first 16 days of it's release.
This means it has beat James Cameron's film Avatar. Avatar achieved the billion dollar mark in 17 days.
Now Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 officially become the fastest-selling entertainment product of all time.
Apparently over 30 million gamers (according to Activision) are now a part of the Call of Duty community. Activision says [the amount of COD gamers] "now exceeds the combined populations of the cities of New York, London, Tokyo, Paris and Madrid."
Well that is all dandy; I still prefer Battlefield 3.
