The VGAs have always been a rather big event for the gaming world. Spike TV's VGA tends to enjoy adding a bit of glamour and random stars (2003 Awards had the likes of P.O.D. Lil' Kim, DMX, The WWE, etc) but has always faced some harsh criticism.
